Escape to the enchanting Haenertsburg in Limpopo, a hidden gem nestled in the Magoebaskloof Mountains where you will find Woodmere Lodge which offers a 14 sleeper, spacious and well-appointed self-catering home surrounded by indigenous rain forests and pine forests.
It is reached on a dirt road through the majestic forest. The house consists of a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area with DSTV and a fireplace. Seven beautiful bedrooms consisting of a variety of three quarter, double, queen and king sized beds. Fully equipped on suite as well as sharing bathrooms. There is also a beautiful pit braai to enjoy the night time fires.
We offer Pet friendly facilities by arrangement and also offer livery, should you want to bring your horse with to explore outrides into the indigenous forest and to the dam. We have full time grooms that live on the farm.
Guests can enjoy walks and birding on the farm or just relaxing by the pool. Savor the local flavors at Zwakala Brewery or pick fresh berries at Blueberry Heights Farm. Thrill seekers can soar through treetops at Magoebaskloof Tree Top Canopy Tours, witnessing waterfalls and wildlife from a bird’s eye view. The area also offers trout fishing, bass fishing, boating, mountain biking and adventure sports. The Ebenezar Dam offers daily enjoyment whether fishing, kayaking or swimming or going on a sunset cruise on the Sunset Queen House Boat. There is the beautiful Debengeni Waterfalls where you can enjoy a cool swim and beautiful hike ending off with a picnic in their well-appointed picnic area.
The quaint village of Haenertsberg, often shrouded in a mystical silver mist, invites you to explore its rich history. There is a good selection of restaurants, coffee shops, gift shops and galleries to explore.

Terms & Conditions
- The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
- Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
- If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving. - The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
- The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
- The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
- The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
